A Diablo 4 player shared their impressive Necromancer build, revealing they were incredibly lucky when it came to rolling the elusive Hellbent Commander skill. Players are constantly trying to improve their damage and defense, with Diablo 4 putting heavy emphasis on skill-based progression. However, a large part of Diablo 4’s progression comes down to luck, with one player managing to achieve a highly sought-after skill.

Diablo 4 marks the fourth mainline entry in Blizzard Entertainment’s decades-spanning action-oriented RPG series, delivering players some of the franchise’s most impressive visuals, even more satisfying gameplay, and a plethora of new features. Diablo 4 players have the option of five distinct classes, granting them access to a massive open world while they search for the game’s main villain, Lilith. Despite changes and upgrades, the main “hook” of the Diablo series is still very much alive, with a staggering amount of weapons, armor, and other loot available around every corner.

Reddit user u/Dainsleif369 shared a screenshot of the incredibly impressive, jealousy-inducing Hellbent Commander affix they were able to roll. The Hellbent Commander skill allows players using the Necromancer class in Diablo 4 to deal increased damage with minions when they are close to them. A Minion-based Necromancer in Diablo 4 is one of the more popular ways to play the class. Minions can already do impressive damage, but with Hellbent Commander, Necromancers can become near-unstoppable.

Much like other sought-after items, buffs, and skills, players spend hours upon hours and tons of gold trying to get the Hellbent Commander affix on their amulets, with this +7 being incredibly rare and impressive. The search for bigger and better loot is what keeps players coming back season after season, with Diablo 4 offering one of the largest collections of loot the franchise has ever seen.

Diablo 4 is currently in the middle of its season 4 content update, which has brought with it several welcome changes. One of the biggest features of season 4 was the addition of Diablo 4’s Masterworking crafting system, as well as an overhaul of how itemization works. Season 4, officially titled Loot Reborn, continues Diablo 4’s impressive offering of content, with Blizzard preparing to release the highly anticipated Vessel of Hatred expansion later this year.
